Advanced Technology Incorporated (ATI) makes a "tricked out" stock
for the Ruger 10/22 rifles. Called the "Fiberforce" stock, it is made
for .22lr or .17HM2 caliber tapered barrel guns only. Synthetic stocks
offer strength and an attractive look, all at low cost. They are a good
fit to the gun, strong, and well made. All one needs to do to switch stocks
is to drop the barreled action into the Fiberforce stock and tighten the
receiver screw. They do not use the front barrel band found on most factory
10/22's. All Advanced Technology stocks are quality made in America. The ATI (pictured above on a Ruger 10/22 with heavy barrel) is
an ambidextrous, Dragunov-type stock that is legal in all States. A pistol
grip gives it a comfortable feel, even when carried in the hands all day
on a hunt. Because of its ergonomic design, light weight, and balanced
construction, it is as user-friendly as one can get in a stock. The Fiberforce is a big improvement compared to the factory Ruger
wood stock in design, and can be used by right or left-handed shooters.
The stock's actual weight is 1 pound, 11 ounces (766 g). Its length of
pull is 13 1/2 inches (34.3 cm).
